Hummingbirds fascinate me. All summer, I have been meeting up with the same (well, I think it's the same) little hummingbird every afternoon while I walk my dog to meet my husband after work. She flits and fleets and whirls all around this little park, darting from tree to tree in a flurry or frenetic energy. So lovely, yet so mechanical-like. I wonder if I will see her this afternoon.
