i love to rearrange the view inside of our house. while i was cleaning the house before our trip to st. louis, i simultaneously gave the art-arrangements in our house a makeover so that when we returned from the lou, it would be like a whole new house {and a magically clean one at that!}. here are a few shots of the new-ness.

i've pounced again, my dears. 100 Words for Snow is the new etsy shop of an amazing artist named Susanna from Sweden (her name is not Susanna from Sweden, it is Susanna Erkheikki, and she IS from Sweden). dears, i have some fun news: research & development for my line of wearables is nearing completion. i have been making samples on old clothes of mine that i can no longer stand in their current form as well as a jumbo pack of hanes tees i bought a few years back. a few of these are making their way out into the world as presents on quality control missions. my drawing teacher complimented me on one of my shirts today, which TOTALLY surprised + tickled me. do you like?

dears. i've been glued to my desk-job all day. here is what happened last night after yoga, but before bed, and before 6 am today.
made a new masthead for my mama's blog.

designed and carved my most favorite rubbercut yet. made some cards. they're in the shop!

took this shot of a work-in-progress... the OM tee. {bk has one in grey and has been wearing the heck out of it. yay!}

got inspired by a splash of color in my studio.

Autumn rising.

Dudes. This fall is going to be crazy wonderful!!! I feel like I haven't been giving up enough news lately. Here is the scoop:

1. YOGA: I'm teaching seven public classes this fall. {You can read about them right here.} Also, my workshop schedule is in the works... I'll be offering two hour intensives on chakra balancing, yoga for surviving grey winters, restoring and renewing during the holidays & more (think about it: partner yoga & thai yoga massage for Valentine's day). Also, private & semi-private classes. yippeee!

2. SKOOL: Drawing & apparel design. Dig it.

3. Art House Co-op: The CANVAS Project. Kiddos in Atlanta...five little pieces of me in the form of mini-paintings will be in your fair city.

4. Um, what am I forgetting. Oh yes, I'm working on getting into the Urban Craft Uprising! and I *heart* Rummage. Updates soon.

i love my scanner. i love my show.

dears, it seems like forever ago that i was battling the devil-scanner, doesn't it?! those were different times, driving to kinko's and praying it wouldn't pour on me and the pieces as i ran between the car and the shop, paying through the nose to use the scanner there... seems like a lifetime ago. meanwhile, i have begun the process of updating all of my etsy listings with shiny new scans of the smaller pieces. it really makes a difference, i think.
so, here is the scoop on my local show. starting April 28, my work will be featured on the walls at Cafe Mae & 5focus in Seattle's Westlake-South Lake Union neighborhood (1009 8th Avenue North). my work will be displayed and on sale there for 6 whole weeks.
i am (of course) ridiculously excited about this opportunity, and i have been happily working my fingers to the bone on new pieces to add to the series you have seen so far. i think i will show about 10 pieces, ranging from tiny to medium large. you know i'll keep you in the loop, my dears.
