Thoughts for a Friday.

I am nurtured by the energy of the earth.
Earth & sky.
My path in life reveals itself to me.
All things.
I am exactly where I need to be.
Exactly.
Big things are in the works.
Feeling the earth today.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, dears.
peace. & LOVE. always.

Sweet geography.

Dears, hope you are swell. I am fabulous now that the sun has re-appeared! Here is a peek at a new piece: I know, it's a crazy departure from what I have been working on in the last few weeks, but I like to keep you on your toes.
It's a mix of water-media on paper. I think I love it.

Oh Marie Antoinette

I know I have gushed about how amazing Sophia Coppola's newest film, Marie Antoinette, is for a color scientist- colorphile such as myself, but I could go on and on about how this movie (and others by Ms. Coppola) are a prime example of how creativity breeds creativity, goodness inspires goodness, love brings love, and on and on. Marie Antoinette has truly brought me so many little sparks of energy and love to pour into new pieces. The last scene of this film literally compels me to study, sketch and paint Versailles. Perhaps it is the painterly quality about the cinematography. So beautiful and amazing. Anyway, yesterday I began my Versailles quest and sketched this fanciful little tree.
