thinking like a monday.

macaroon and milk.

dears, what a wonderful weekend.

my friday yoga class with the elders was a true gift. i left feeling warm and smiley from every cell. does it really count as a volunteer gig if i am happier when i leave there? an age-old question of altruism, i know... just thought i'd toss it out there.

we made a lovely meal for some friends this weekend, and i practiced my pina colada-making skills. this was particularly fun, since mr. loves whales is generally the mixologist around our house. he makes divine mojitos (the most authentic i've tasted since leaving cuba), mono locos and mango margaritas. i, on the other hand, have now become the queen of the pina colada. the key is frozen pineapple.

we met some new neighbors who are close to our age! this is fabulous! it has been a bit tricky for me meeting new friends since we moved here, because aside from yoga, i work from home.

i sold some paintings to some totally sweet & awesome chicas!! thank you so much ladies!!

and... the sun actually came out yesterday for a bit. it was glorious.

in other news, i have been working on some exciting new projects-- love them! also, i am going to print a few photos. this is a fun, new project for me, since most of the photos i take come straight to the blog or linger in the digital warehouse of my external hard-drive. i will let you all know how it goes when they see the light of day.

happy monday! smooches!

Much LOVE & Gratitude for reading! I'd love to hear what *you* think. {p.s. I'm now moderating all comments because we have had too many spammers dropping porn-bombs on us. booooo!}
