Presenting: umbrella days. This piece is acrylic paint on canvas board. I have really really really gotten into painting with acrylics lately, mixed with lots of medium. YUm. This piece is presently in the "is it finished?" phase where I hang it up and look at it for about a week. If it just stays where it is by the end of a week, I know we have arrived at our destination. If I am constantly pulling it down to make changes, then... well, those are changes I need to make!
By the way, we had a totally umbrella-free day yesterday!! We walked to the arboretum and scampered around there for a bit under a blue, nearly cloudless sky! The sun!
