I crafted myself a new calendar this week. Oh boy, is sewing on paper satisfying or what!? I love it. My last home-sewn calendar was quite a bit thinner, since I was not exactly sure how the needle would take to paper. This time, I used a thick stack of vanilla, manila paper that has been sitting around the studio for ages. The front cover is a little collage that I put together using Golden soft gloss gel medium (also known as the miracle product at my house).
My favorite calendars include both monthly and daily calendars. Here is the month of November - December. I like to use the monthly calendar to remind myself of the high-lights or high- points of the month and to use the daily calendar to keep track of everything else.
