We are surrounded by water in Seattle: Lake Washington to the east, Lake Union and Green Lake in the middle, the ship canal dividing the city in half and Puget Sound to the west. It was water that lead us back home from the parched earth of Colorado. Water calms me to the core. It's no wonder, then, that it permeates these little paint-sketches.
