For me, water is essential for creativity and livelihood in general. The lack of water lead us from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado back to the Pacific Northwest. Now I can walk 15 minutes east or west and wind up at the water's edge. Not that I would swim in the Sound, but I do get in the lake.
My sisters are at the lake with my parents today. I can only imagine that my sista Kate has a smile just like this on her face right now.
