I have a love-hate relationship with spiders, but am truly fascinated with their webs. The relationship that tiny, silky net has with light creates myriad images behind my eyes. This web danced in a corner of our porch before I swept it away. Ah. the impermanence of it all.
I like this one. Your water color amazes me. I am a novice. I used to do "abstract" art during 1995-1997. And I did not know what I was doing and when I came here I understood the whole hoopla until now. I paint on brown paper that we get at walmart! mostly using acrylic/oil paints. Currently I am reading the book - The story of art and the modern japanese print - simultaneously. But I believe art is what is lies in the eye, not what sotheby's and the art galleries in New york or Milan say. Art reflects life and I am glad to see what you draw comes from your heart.
