i call this piece jnana. jnana means wisdom in sanskrit, and this painting depicts the jnana mudra. a mudra is a hand gesture that channels and guides energy through the subtle body.
Jess, yes! it's a rubber-cut i made last week. i am OBSESSED with block prints. i had never done anything like them until about 3 weeks ago when i bought a piece of easy-cut rubber and a speedball knife set on a whim! there's no turning back now!
